Note

Content and products

1 min read writing, products, search

Write about what is being built so people can find it through search.

Content can matter as much as the product when discovery depends on search. If something is worth building, it is usually worth writing about in a way that people can actually find.

Build-in-public updates, project analysis documents, and code documentation all fit that pattern. They explain real decisions, show how the work is changing, and give search something concrete to index.

Public notes and project pages are part of the same discovery strategy. I wrote Publishing notes publicly for the note side of that idea, and Documentation hub is one way to put the documents in one simple site.
